Staking Vault

Updated

The Staking Vault lets you lock $AFKHERO for a fixed period. Locked $AFKHERO takes a share of the vault's own reward pool, lifts you into a tier with perks, and adds a bonus to your hero's earning weight. Staking is open to heroes with a pack, and you open the vault from the Stake page.

Staking locks your $AFKHERO. Closing a position before its lock ends costs 25% of the amount, and rewards depend on what is in the vault's pool and how much is staked, so they can change. Only stake what you can leave alone for the full lock.

How it works

Minimum stake100,000 $AFKHERO per position. You can open more positions while others are still locked.
Lock lengths7, 14 or 30 days
Reward weightx1.5 for 7 days, x2.2 for 14 days, x4 for 30 days
Vault capacity400,000,000 $AFKHERO in total
Per-account limitNo account can take more than 25% of the vault's reward share

The vault has its own reward pool, funded by the team. Each day a fixed fraction of what is in it is shared among stakers in proportion to their reward weight — the amount you stake multiplied by its lock bonus. Rewards build up continuously, even while you are away from the game, and the more that is staked overall the thinner each share. The Stake page shows your positions, your rewards and the tier ladder, with a board of the top stakers.

Tiers

Your tier comes from the total of your positions whose lock is still running. Each tier adds a bonus to your hero's base earning weight; the bonus is added alongside your boosted weight, and your other boosts do not multiply it.

Perks

Higher tiers also cut your fees and add a daily allowance. Without a stake you pay the normal Marketplace sale fee of 10%, a flat listing fee of 100 $AFKHERO, and a 10% fee when you sell gold in the swap.

The daily keys and Talismans are delivered once a day. Boss Keys still stop at the 999 you can hold.

Diamond and higher: a withdrawal does not reset the 24-hour no-withdrawal part of your Earning Boost while the tier is active. Vault and Titan also shorten the Idle Warden's cooldown after each kill, to 3 minutes at Vault and 1 minute at Titan (5 minutes otherwise).

Titan extras

Titan, the top tier at 100,000,000 locked, adds these on top of the table above, for as long as you hold it:

  • A Pickaxe Crate every day, delivered with the keys and Talismans.
  • One Gacha pull a day at no cost. It is a normal pull: pity and Marks advance, and it does not count toward Gacha quests.
  • One premium Origins card pack (5 cards) a day at no cost, while Origins packs are on sale.
  • The Celestial Atlas profile frame: +100% earning while you wear it. It is put on for you unless you already wear a frame as strong, and your best frame goes back on if Titan ends.
  • The gold Titan role on our Discord. Link your Discord account in the game and join the server to receive it.
  • The Idle Warden is ready again 1 minute after each kill (3 minutes at Vault, 5 otherwise).
  • Withdrawals of up to 2,500,000 $AFKHERO at once and 5,000,000 a day.

The free pull and pack reset at 00:00 UTC; one not taken that day does not carry over.

Claiming, compounding and renewing

  • Claim your rewards whenever you like.
  • Compound folds your rewards back into the position. They become part of the stake and stay inside the lock. You can switch on auto-compound for a position.
  • When a lock ends, the position stops earning and stops counting toward your tier, but the tokens stay in the vault until you close it. Turn on auto-renew to start a new lock automatically, or tap stake again. You can pick a longer term for the next renewal, never a shorter one.
  • Closing early returns your stake minus 25%, plus the rewards you have already built up. The 25% goes back into the vault's reward pool for the stakers who remain. Closing after the lock ends costs nothing.

Staked tokens leave your spendable balance and cannot be withdrawn until you close the position, but they still count toward the Hold task of your Earning Boost.

The queue

When the vault is full, the Stake button leads you to the queue. Choose an amount, a lock and a bid. You are staked automatically as room opens, highest bid first. The Stake page shows your place in line and the minimum bid to move ahead. Bid steps grow with the size of the bid: 1,000 below 10,000, then 2,000 from 10,000, 5,000 from 50,000, 10,000 from 100,000, 50,000 from 500,000 and 100,000 from 1,000,000.

Bids are spent when placed and are never returned. The tokens you queue leave your balance while you wait, and any part that has not been staked yet comes back in full if you leave the queue. You can hold up to 5 queue entries, and queued tokens count toward the Hold task of your Earning Boost.
