Boss Rush
Boss Rush is a 10-stage boss gauntlet, the game's endgame loot run. You spend one Premium Dungeon Ticket to start, then fight ten bosses in fixed order, each tougher than the last. Every stage you clear drops a burst of item chests whose rarity floor climbs as you go deeper, plus a few extras, and finishing all ten grants a bonus finale hoard (and a chance at endgame crafting dust in the Void Abyss).
Entering: the Premium Dungeon Ticket
The ticket is priced as 10 Boss Keys minus 20%. Buy it in the Store; it waits in your bag, and you press Use on it to start a run. Like all spending, the ticket is a real sink: a portion cycles back into the reward pool.
There is no cooldown between runs. You can start the next one as soon as you hold another ticket.
If you fall or close the game mid-run
- Falling in a fight, or closing the game, does not end the run. It stays open at the stage you reached.
- To carry on, press Use on a ticket in your bag. Because the run is already open, no ticket is spent.
- Leaving the run on purpose keeps everything you have already earned and forfeits the remaining stages.
- A stage counts only once you clear it. If you fall on stage 7, you keep the rewards from stages 1 to 6.
The 10 bosses
The bosses always appear in the same order. Boss health is anchored to the Idle Warden of the zone you are in: stage 1 has 0.8x a key boss's health and each stage adds 20%, reaching about 4.13x by stage 10. Boss attack starts at 0.8x a key boss's attack and is capped at 1.25x from stage 4 on, so later stages are longer fights rather than harder hits. The actual boss also scales with your zone difficulty, level and Nightmare mode.
| Stage | Boss | HP factor (x key boss) | Attack factor (x key boss) | Chests | Rarity floor |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Crate Golem | 0.80x | 0.80x | 2 | Epic |
| 2 | Bog Wraith | 0.96x | 0.96x | 2 | Legendary |
| 3 | Bone Marshal | 1.152x | 1.152x | 3 | Legendary |
| 4 | Mimic Tyrant | 1.382x | 1.25x | 3 | Mythic |
| 5 | Void Stalker | 1.659x | 1.25x | 4 | Mythic |
| 6 | Ember Colossus | 1.991x | 1.25x | 4 | Cosmic |
| 7 | Frost Revenant | 2.389x | 1.25x | 5 | Cosmic |
| 8 | Storm Warden | 2.867x | 1.25x | 5 | Cosmic |
| 9 | Abyss Brute | 3.440x | 1.25x | 6 | Cosmic |
| 10 | The Singularity King | 4.128x | 1.25x | 6 | Cosmic |
Difficulty ramp
There is no sudden wall. Boss health grows 20% every stage and the increases compound, so stage 10 has roughly five times the health of stage 1, and the back half of a run is far longer than the front half. Stage 6 is where the loot floor first reaches Cosmic, and every stage after it keeps that floor.
Loot per stage
Each stage drops the number of chests shown above, and every chest is guaranteed to be at least that stage's rarity floor. The floor climbs from Epic through Legendary and Mythic to Cosmic, and Cosmic is the highest rarity Boss Rush chests can roll: Boss Rush does not drop Divine or Celestial. Loot is rolled server-side at deep-zone stat budgets with a heavy Luck boost, so in the early stages Luck can lift an individual chest above its floor, but never past Cosmic.
Chests earned during a run are queued and open into your bag when there's space. If your chest queue is full when you clear a stage, the overflow loot is delivered to your mailbox rather than being lost.
Extras on every stage
- Each stage pays gold based on that boss's health, so a run that ends early keeps the gold from the stages you cleared.
- Each stage boss drops an Elemental Stone: Tier I every time, with a small chance of a higher tier.
- Each stage boss has a 1-in-10 chance of dropping a Pickaxe Crate, so a full run is ten crate chances.
- Each rush boss counts as one boss kill on the Bosses board, and adds to your Season Score weighted by its stage difficulty (up to the roughly 4.13x stage-10 premium), doubled in Nightmare.
Finale hoard & endgame dust
Clearing stage 10 grants everything from stage 10's drop plus a bonus finale hoard of 2 extra Cosmic-floor chests.
If you run Boss Rush in the Void Abyss endgame zone, clearing stage 10 also rolls each of the 10 bosses independently for a chance at endgame crafting dust (Angel Dust and Universe Dust). Nightmare mode gives the full chance; Normal mode gives half. Dust drops only in the Void Abyss, and some Void Abyss materials have lifetime supply caps and can run out. In Nightmare in Frozen Spire, Singularity Vault and Void Abyss, every stage also has a 10% chance at Titan Dust.
Rules of a run
Stages must be cleared in order, one at a time, in an open run. The only server check that can turn a clear down is a timing rule: a stage cannot be cleared faster than 0.8 seconds, so a genuine fight always counts, while an instant or scripted claim is rejected as "too fast, keep fighting this stage".
There is no power gate. A run is never ended because the server thinks your build is too weak: as long as you actually beat the boss on screen and don't claim faster than the timing rule, the stage counts. You can attempt all 10 stages on any build; the real limit is whether you can survive the fight.
You can leave a run at any time. Each stage's loot and leaderboard credit are granted the moment you clear that stage, so leaving keeps everything you have already earned and simply forfeits the remaining stages. Leaving grants no finale hoard and no dust, because those need stage 10.
