Horde Trial

Horde Trial is an action event on its own page, afkheroes.xyz/horde/. Waves of monsters come at you. You move, your weapons fire on their own, and every level-up lets you pick a new weapon or upgrade. It has two modes, two boards and $AFKHERO prizes, and it runs until 15 November 2026 at 15:00 UTC.

How to open it

• In the game, press the Horde button in the arena, above the Boss button. It says Horde Ready! when a free run is waiting and Free Horde in ... when it is not.
• Or open the Earn menu and pick Horde Trial.
• Both open the page in a new tab, so your hero keeps fighting in the game tab. You can also go to afkheroes.xyz/horde/ yourself and sign in with the same account.

Two modes

• The Long Night (Endless): everyone starts at the same strength, with no gear. Pick a class, an element (Fire, Ice or Lightning) and a starting weapon, then survive as long as you can. Open to everyone. The board ranks by Night score: the square root of 60 x kills x seconds survived, so stay alive and keep fighting.
• Trial Ladder (Your hero): play with your own hero and gear, zone by zone. Bring a Trial's Warden down to open the next Trial. You need a pack from any season. The board ranks by the highest Trial cleared, then by how fast its Warden fell.

How to play

• Move with WASD or the arrow keys, or drag on a touch screen. Your weapons fire on their own.
• At each level-up, pick one card. The recipe line shows how a weapon evolves. Hold keeps a card for your next level-up.
• A run holds at most 4 weapons.
• A chest shows a set number of cards: pick one. Chests have no Reroll, Banish or Skip.
• Pausing has a wait: 5 seconds after your first pause, doubling with each pause in the same run.
• A run does not change your hero, gear or items in the main game.

Free runs, price and prizes

Your free run comes back 24 hours after your last free run started, not at midnight. Every paid run adds to its board's prize pool, and the page shows each pool live. Each board also shows how many runs every player finished. Prizes are paid to your game balance after the event ends and the winning runs are checked.

Daily quest: Play Daily Horde pays 250,000 gold. Play your free Long Night run for at least 2 minutes, then claim it in Quests. It comes back with your next free run.

Rules

• Play every run yourself. Scripts, bots, macros and auto-clickers are not allowed.
• One account per person. Playing on more than one account, or letting someone else play for you, removes you from the prizes.
• No exploits. If you find a bug, report it on Discord instead of using it.
• Every run is recorded and can be replayed. Runs that break the rules are removed from the boards.
